
Context Participates in Chinese Seed Delegation Visit
Representatives from forty Chinese corn seed companies recently visited the United States and the ASTA Corn and Sorghum Seed Research Conference in Chicago. The delegation represented seed industry leaders from the premier domestic corn seed companies in China. The delegation visited under a Memorandum of Understanding between ASTA and the China National Seed Association (CNSA).
Meeting food and fiber demands during the next 30-50 years will require increased productivity from finite natural resources, while balancing demands for environmental protection and social benefit. It will also require farmers around the world to use the latest available agricultural technology.
